Training Description:
This training is focused on the basic therapeutic setting for play therapy in a school environment. It will cover the basics of creating a safe space in play therapy for those who are just beginning their play therapy experience, but it will delve further into how these issues show up in a school setting and how to address these issues.
- Identify the importance of a safe space in play therapy relating specifically to the physical environment.
- Identify practical techniques for setting boundaries and maintaining a safe space for clients in back to back appointments.
- Identifying school-setting specific obstacles to play therapy.
- Identifying school resources for supporting your play clients.
