Training Description: This training session is for individual and family therapists interested in working with CYFD involved families in order to deliver the Thriving Kids Parenting Curriculum. This is a trauma informed parenting program, tailored specifically for family involved in CYFD (JJS and CPS). Attendees will learn how to apply the ARC model to families that they work with, and specifically apply the ARC model as a context in which to deliver the Thriving Kids Parenting Curriculum. Attendees will be trained on the 16-weeks of the parenting groups in addition to learning further about trauma-informed work with high risk families.
