Golden Apple Foundation of New Mexico invites teams of educators, administrators, counselors and other key school personnel to attend this timely and fundamental one-day conference on trauma and its affects on students and learning. Trauma informed practice is a component of many districts’ academic master plans. Dr.CraigPierce, LMFT, LPCC, of Southwest Family Guidance Center and Institute, will present specific new techniques to address the affects of trauma in classrooms and how to build trauma informed practice at the school level.
