- Define mindfulness and “presence”.
- List 3 ways mindfulness and being present affects the brain to help regulate the nervous system and increases your awareness of your performance or areas of impairment.
- Explain how “presence” can increase your ability to identify subtle areas of discrimination/judgments you may have and evaluate potential boundary challenges.
- Develop at least 5 strategies to increase mindfulness during the work day. And #5, evaluate your clinical behavior through the model of Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal theory.
