Training: Unconditional Care – A Paradigm Shift for Working With Our Clients
November 3, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This training is being offered to all of SWFGC. School-based providers may find this content particularly helpful but office based providers could also apply this model to their clients. This training is based on the Seneca model of unconditional care and is a consultation model of how to identify, think about, and intervene with kids who have a history of trauma, abuse and neglect. This will be a resource providers can offer to their schools including health and wellness teams and will be useful in treatment planning. Take away materials and specific tools to use with clients will be provided.
Our goal will be to offer this training again in early 2018 and hopefully also offer this training in Santa fe and Las Cruces.
